Love "Hands Open", "Open your Eyes" and "Much Has Been Said" (mostly because it invokes "Stay" -- yun ba yun? O ibang Bamboo song?). Hate "Chasing Cars" (mostly because I hate Grey's Anatomy) and the Brittany Murphy song (I don't know; it sounds uninspired). Otherwise, hmm, will have to look up the others.

Haha. I didn't like Chasing Cars much, really, but after watching Grey's (which I sorta like), the song went pretty OK.

But yes, you are right, most of the other songs in Eyes Open are better than that. And the two you mentioned tops my list too.

Stay was indeeed sampled over at Much has Been Said.

For you, I'd recommend Athlete, if you're into the mopey stuff, and Jack's Mannequin for the piano-rock (ala Coldplay's Clocks) type.
